Natural disasters (earthquake, tsunami, landslide, and volcanic eruptions) and weather related natural disasters (hurricane/cyclone, tornado, flood, drought) are occurring dramatically at increased frequency during the last decade, which is thought to be the result of climate change mechanisms.
