On Oct 24, 2014 I attended the Academy banquet and 2014 induction award ceremony of 10 inductees in UT Alumni Center, Austin, Texas. My wife and oldest son were present too.
This award has been the highest honor of my professional/academic life when I was elected a distinguished alum and recognized by one of the top ranked universities in the U.S. and the world.
The University of Texas at Austin is ranked 30 in the 2014 U.S. News and World Report ranking.
The CAEE department ranks 3rd for graduate program and 6th for UG in 2014 U.S. News report ranking.
The CAEE department ranks 6th in the QS world ranking of universities worldwide.
